Tamarillo season is in full swing so start getting your perserving completed so you can enjoy tamarillos all season long.
1.5 kgs Tamarillos
2 cups Water
500g Green Apples, peeled and chopped
2 kgs Sugar
Juice of 1 lemon
Pour boiling water over tamarillos to aid skinning and chop tamarillos up. Place in pot with water and apples and bring to the boil. Add the sugar and boil for 30 minutes or until a little sets in a saucer. Add the lemon juice. Bottle and seal.
